The city of Logroño has made progress in its modernisation strategy with the implementation of an innovative digital marketing and sensorisation system for local commerce. This project, which includes the installation of digital totems and behavioural analysis tools, aims to improve the shopper experience, boost the commercial sector and strengthen the city's business fabric.
Innovation at the service of local commerce
As part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, Logroño has deployed a network of digital totems at strategic points, including the San Blas Market and the Hundred Shops Shopping Area. These devices not only offer information and dynamic advertising, but also have Seeketing Nodes for detecting the flow of people, allowing a better understanding of the consumption habits and mobility of visitors.
Main milestones of the project
- Installation of 35 digital totems in key locations to facilitate the promotion of local commerce and the dissemination of relevant information.
- Implementation of IoT devices (Seeketing Nodes) to monitor the flow of people, helping businesses to understand consumer behaviour.
- Integration with the Logroño Compra platform, connecting the local marketplace with the network of digital screens to boost sales of small businesses.
- Proximity marketing by sending personalised messages to visitors (whatsapp and SMS), optimising the relationship between retailers and customers.
- Sustainability and efficiency, reusing disused urban infrastructures to improve the city's image and reduce environmental impact.
